I bought this book on the strength of a recent review in the Daily Telegraph and I have not been disappointed. The layout of the book is colourful & clear. Each recipe covers one double page – a full page photo on one side and clear ingredients list and method on the other. The recipes are designed to be quick and easy to cook. So far I have tried three recipes, two of them more than once, and all have gone down very well with the family. All quantities are to feed four and I have found this is sufficient for my family of five (including three very hungry children) but easy to halve or double if necessary.


I cannot recommend this book enough. The recipes are simple to make and delicious. Many recipes freeze very well so can be made ahead.

Fantastic book for anyone who loves making bread or would love to start making bread! So simple to follow and the option to use the bread maker makes it all the better.

You could easily be tempted to use all the recipes in this book. All tried so far have been a success.
